I had a chance to revisit Barcelona after many years and decided to deal with my jet lag by taking the on/off open top bus. I was too tired to disembark so I traversed the city changing buses only twice to include the green, red and blue pathways. I met other tourists many of whom were passengers from cruise ships.

I stayed within 55 meters of Placa de Catalunya and found a great deli that I went back to more than once even though I was only in the city for 2 days. And speaking of food, I think Spain serves up some of the best breakfasts in the world.

My second morning I took off on foot and revisited many of the buildings and squares that I had viewed from the bus. It’s a great city for people watching!
